Traffic statistics for self-hosted WordPress
-
Way back when, during my days of using Logjamming hosting, and having a Greymatter and later MovableType blog, Logjamming provided traffic stats via Webalizer.
Since I'm now tinkering with WordPress for www.eddiejennings.net, I'm curious to know you folks use to get traffic stats for your sites.

@EddieJennings - Google Analytics.

That's basically what everyone uses. Although I dislike it, lots of stuff doesn't show up. We tried it with ML and it would report zero traffic even while people were actively posting.

Cloudflare will show you some rudimentary stats.

Check out Matomo

Not a fan of it myself either but like you say most use it, I used to like awstats years ago.

Matomo is amazing
It seems nifty. I'll look into it later this evening (time permitting).

I'll check out Matomo as well because I'll be happy to use anything but google. A lot of their stats just don't add up
