Windows 10 Pro 1803 creates new virtual adapter daily
-
I run Hyper-V on my laptop to run some small VMs for self-training. Everyday I shutdown my computer. The next day, I'll have one more virtual adapter created than I did the day before.
- How do I make this stop?
- How do I get rid of most of these except for 1?
I have checked with Hyper-V manager and Virtual Switch Manager and nothing shows more than 1 virtual adapter or more than 1 virtual switch.

How many Hyper-V Switches do you actually have?

@dbeato Just 1.

This here says you can go into regedit to remove the interfaces, but this doesn't appear to correct the issue. (new switches being created at every reboot)
The virtual switch configuration stored within the following key: HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\VMSMP\Parameters\SwitchList After they deleted the corresponding value within that key and rebooted, the virtual switch was gone.
