Snipe-IT - Modify Toolbar?

I am using the hosted version of Snipe-IT and when I search, I usually use criteria other than asset tag (name, model, manufacturer, supplier, etc.). I would like to replace the ubiquitous asset tag search in the static toolbar with the more universal search that appears when selecting List All. Is there a setting somewhere, or do I just have to live with it?

I'm thinking that unless you can edit the PHP code for that search form, you can't... I don't remember seeing an option in the settings anywhere to change it.

I may take a look as well... because I also would like to replace it.

There was a similar request on GitHub about this exact thing... looks like they are totally uninterested in doing anything about it.
See if we can get more people to comment on it.

@black3dynamite Is it an automated thing or would the devs have to go in and address it manually?
Edit: To clarify, I am referring to the status of the request.
