Apache Storm Released

Apache Storm became an Apache Top Level Project a few days ago and is ready for use now. For people working with big data this could be really neat. I'm not a big data expert but this is a very cool project for sure.

Surprisingly I have not seen anyone talking about Storm previously. It appears to be primarily a replacement for MapReduce and can be used on top of Hadoop which is pretty awesome.
