@lakshmana to you as well! What an interesting festival/function (never knew this existed before I'm reading a brief article on it) :).

PS. I'm clearly blind as the installer is right there. . .
glad you found it. We're only a few weeks out from start of development so releases are coming very regularly. We just wanted a great community to help test as we go along to aid us in making this really what you guys need so here we are :D.

RE: Live Streaming of Conference?
@scottalanmiller @BigLittle Agreed. Even though this is a nice convenience and definitely better than nothing, being there in person is still much better. This should be seen as a last resort kind of situation :).

No it doesn't, and thus neither do I....

RE: Sodium Update
Just wanted to make a quick post about a known bug. It looks like right now we are not actively, accurately displaying application data from linux boxes. We are collecting it but not displaying it properly. I already see what the issue is, when I get a moment today I'll make the correction.

There is a massive Disturbance in the Force... @donaldlandru has never seen Star Wars! I feel we need to bring balance back to our community quickly.
There are a couple ways to bring balance back (before @scottalanmiller argues with me, yes this will work; I do this all the time):
1: zoom conference aka Hosted Star Wars viewing, with a thread here to dicuss.
2: Schedule a day to watch: everyone come back to talk about it later.
@donaldlandru will need to be treated as a young Padawan and brought into the fold.
Thoughts???
I almost feel like this is a necessity and we should drop EVERYTHING until this happens. This is actually a fairly unsettling situation....

RE: What Is RAID 0? SAMIT Video
@fuznutz04 as long as @scottalanmiller doesn't have an issue with you doing it to his videos you can always do this yourself with https://www.dvdvideosoft.com/ .
It's freeware that will allow you to convert youtube videos to mp3 or any other format really that you want. That being said I obviously don't condone using this for illegal behavior, but if scott doesn't have an issue. Also ifyou choose to go this route it would likely be wise to do an av/malware scan before using this as it has been ages since I've touched it and can't verify that the company hasn't changed hands or is now ran by someone else. It use to be perfectly fine but I can't vouch for it after 5 years of not using it.

RE: Sodium Update
@ndc Yep, this is a known bug (side effect of all the agent pick up work that was done yesterday). I will be fixing that here in a little bit.

You've hit a whole new level lol

@scottalanmiller Option to migrate from SW?
This actually has been something that I've been thinking about. It has been expressed by a few members. I am working currently on slicking up a few things and this might be part of it.

RE: Sodium System Status
@manxam said in Sodium System Status:
@QuixoticJeremy, I installed the agent on a Windows 10 system a few days ago but Sodium does not show any information beneath "Applications" for it.
Also, it enumerated the DVD drive (E:) but shows "Not Available" for all of the data. Could you do a quick WMI check on drives to determine if they're ROM and, if empty (isReady = False), show "Empty" or something along those lines?
[IO.DriveInfo]::GetDrives() | where { $_.DriveType -eq 'CDRom' }
Name : E:
DriveType : CDRom
DriveFormat :
IsReady : False
AvailableFreeSpace :
TotalFreeSpace :
TotalSize :
RootDirectory : E:
VolumeLabel :Hi @manxam! Thanks for posting/helping us test. Yep, you are 100% right, the applications not showing is indeed a known issue and I'm actually working on it as we speak. (It was reported on Friday but we've had some crisis situations that prevented me from getting to it until now). As for the storage side of things I'm making note of that and will check into that right after I fix the app bug. Thanks again!

I'm currently re-installing FreePBX because I fumble fingered the gateway address and didn't realize it till I blew away the VM to start over.... are you all sure it's not Monday morning?
LOL you might be experiencing what is called Monweek. These happen from time to time where against all odds your week is simply full of Mondays. The nice thing about these weeks is that when you hit the weekend it feels that much better.

RE: Desk side Support Question
Sodium could definitely help out in a situation like this. We do monitor CPU usage and it's possible you could catch one of these spikes, etc. Plus we're active in the community so you can always get ahold of us if you have any issues.

RE: What Do You Want in a Helpdesk and Ticketing System?
@manxam said in What Do You Want in a Helpdesk and Ticketing System?:
Proper scheduling! That's one of the major missing pieces for all the less expensive PSAs/ticketing systems. This is about the only thing that ConnectWise does really well:
While in a ticket you can assign a status and then schedule the ticket for either
a) perform this task on this day/time (i.e: you've made arrangements with a user to do X at time Y and it should take Z time to complete)b) follow-up with the user at this date/time for whatever purpose you deem necessary (i.e. pre-ticket closure email ensuring the issue is resolved to the client's satisfaction)
Exchange / Outlook integration a huge plus...
Also, time tracking via manual entry or start/stop.
Definitely some great ideas in here and also some ideas that are already in place! I like the scheduling concept and will try to put that through product management. As for time tracking this is already in place. It works currently but it is very bare bones where we we're planning on revamping it an approaching it from a (very slightly) different direction.

Not super critical - but the formatting could stand a tweak.
Also - didn't it have a YUM installer? or was named YUM rather than..
that formatting does look bad, I'll tidy that up today. RPM will use yum.
