Constant changes are bad, it makes even the most seasoned professional stuck trying to figure things out and looking look a noob all of the time.

I'm interested in knowing how the MS secure email works, I've been considering using it when I move to O365. Man, it sounds pretty bad.

With all of the tack on options.. E3 really is where MS wants everyone. ug!

None of that was covered, though. No amount of Windows, AD or SMB covers that. Only NTFS ACLs provide that. You can do with with actual NTFS or you can do it with Linux VFS and an NTFS ACL layer. Either way, works the same. But the only device that can give you ACLs is the device providing SMB. So the Synology NAS in the example.

If they happen to be using Gmail for their email you may want to look at AODocs. Amazon WorkDocs is another option.

Did you make any changes to the LAN Sync feature in Dropbox? I've always seen big improvements when blocking cloud sync services over WLAN within the office via endpoint software. e.g. Symantec

I will try again when I power down this virtual machine and see if it gives me a disk move options. That way could move the entire disk to a different storage repository (NFS Share this time). Then from there, expand that disk size.

But in the past. When I expand the disk seize of the volume attached. Windows does not see it as a larger disk... Windows see's the additional storage space as a seperate drive. I've had to merge these drives together.

So do you have the ability to backup this virtual hard disk at the hypervisor level? Then restore it to the NFS volume. Schedule some down time and detach the one connected to the iSCSI storage and attached the NFS one. That should maintain the drive letter and all the configs...
