RE: Time for me to move on from Webroot
This discussion reminds me of the articles that come out periodically saying that the NSA & FBI can't hire skilled programmers and security people because they all smoke pot and won't pass the drug test:

Patch all your Windows DNS servers - CVE-2020-1350 - CVSS score of 10
There's a wormable exploit that has a patch out:
https://portal.msrc.microsoft.com/en-US/security-guidance/advisory/CVE-2020-1350
Until you patch, hackers can send a malformed packet to your DNS server and exploit that to run a remote code execution.

RE: Nic is taking Scott's advice to heart.
@dashrender took a gig as the community manager for LogRhythm. Should hopefully be back as a green guy for them on here and Spiceworks too - just getting the approval for marketing to make that part of my job

RE: Top Ten Happiest Places on Earth in 2019
Doesn't matter how much or how little you pay in taxes when a major medical problem will guarantee you go bankrupt in the US. All that money you saved on taxes goes out the window, plus your house, your truck, and your savings.

@JaredBusch That's impressive. I have way to many games I want to play in the time I allot myself each week to even think about doing all the achievements.
I do not play a lot of game anymore. Because when I play, I want to seriously play. So I limit my game count.
Same here.
I thought you hoard Steam games?
Hoard does not mean play. It means spend money for no reason.
I call it "retirement planning"
. My expectation is that the retirement community I move to will be one big LAN party.

Agreed - the upside is you dodged the bullet of having to be part of such a dysfunctional organization.

RE: Motivating Workers
The money stuff all depends on where you live and the cost of living.
Generally salary is what is called a "sanitary factor". Not enough will make you quit, but more won't make up for a shitty work environment.

Fun Webroot community infographic
We passed over the milestone of 10k users on our community, so our marcom team put together a nice infographic for me. It turned out pretty cool, so I thought I'd share it with you guys:
