Good to know that there is no fine for surfing on a dead whale.
Usually , it's a few litres of blood and at least one limb, payable to any nearby shark

@nadnerB I'm not trying to say anything negative about religion itself, and your argument of "atheists gets all old testament" is in itself misguided towards the implied goal.
I was born, raised, and baptized catholic, so I'm familiar with the works, up until now a majority of my life I was a Christian.
My implied goal wasn't to state how Christianity was wrong, or how any religion is wrong for that matter, just to point out those who make facebook statuses professing insulting texts with misinformed information. If you're going to entertain some text that is out dated from one book and profess it as your belief, wouldn't all text from the same book apply?
I endorse all religions as a side note, and will defend your right to believe what you want, I'm not one of "those atheists". Just to clarify.
I see where you are coming from and it looks like we have both misread parts of each others points of view, going by what I read in your text.
Thanks for the clarification of your views, much appreciated

I think it's time to bail on this topic before we end up like slashdot.

Good afternoon folks, I feel it is time to speak of wicked and scary things... cough cough cough I mean... the misleading things that some people say in offensive fashions.
First off Halloween is of pagan origin, which is in itself awesome. But Protestant Christian's celebrate All Hallows Eve as a day of reformation. Once again something that is awesome.
The problem is some "good Christians" have tainted this day as a "satanic day", worshiping the devil, and all hail the anti-christ. Once again, something I would refer to as a "bad Christian."
"BUT RYAN YOU'RE AN ATHEIST!!!!" Yes, I am, deal with it.
Why do I care though? Because over the years I find it amusing when these self professed "good Christians" start discussing their beliefs and how they are better. These are the same people who try to school you in religious trivia, tell you you're ignorant, and end their day with "being gay is wrong and disgusting, its against my religion." Which I find hilarious, honestly its the sort of thing that is a tear jerker.
But once again I'm an atheist why do I care? Because trying to hide ignorance and bigotry with a shroud of "but its my religion" is fine... if you're practicing the religion properly.
Practicing it improperly? The verses in the bible constantly beaten into our heads is usually something from Leviticus, telling us how horrid we are, and try to beat us up. But why does this matter? Because... the information used to beat other christains is information and verses from... the old testament. Why does this matter? Because anyone who lives their lives by the old testament, anyone who insults another person using verses, using any scripter from the old testament better be Jewish. If they aren't... I have some bad news... celebrating halloween won't be what sends you to hell... its the fact you're defying Jesus himself. For shame, for shame.
Why type all this up and hurt peoples feelings? Because, its freaking halloween lets all have fun scaring each other, hurting each others feelings, and enjoy season. Don't insult someone because you think they're wrong, you may be wrong all along. Might as well deal with it and have fun :-).
(side note, drinking alcohol, shaving your beard, having short hair, and gay love... all against leviticus... so don't judge and shut up)
Yawn, soooooooooo many apparent Athiests get all Old Testament on every one that professes to be some type of Christian. Most Christian people that I know have move on since we rediscovered the second part of the Bible (i.e. The New Testament), yay for us.
I see that you have mentioned Leviticus. If you are interested, I'll leave a bit of information regarding that book here, if not, skip the next paragraph.
Leviticus is a book of rules for the a tribe of Israel, specifically Levi, regarding how they are to live their lives and act in order to be fit to carry out their priesty duties in the Tent of Meeting (later to become Solomon's Temple). The rules for the rest of the tribes of Israel are listed in Deuteronomy. They are, IMO, less intense and strict.
Pro Tip, If you are going to combat super judgemental arrogant pricks that claim to be Christians (yes, I went there. Some of us Christians are that way. They don't help anyone and do more harm than good.), then the only way to make them STFU is to know the Bible better than them. Specifically the New Testament. Don't go all Old Testament on them. You'll just protract the argument and waste oxygen. What's that old saying? "Know thy enemy" or something like that.

Canning Highway is horrendous. I imagine that it has significantly improved since Highway to Hell was written but it still sucks.http://perthstreetlife.tumblr.com/post/41835833452/ac-dc-highway-to-hell-highway-to-hell-was-the

RE: Bit.ly and Del.icio.us flagged as malware by Googleposted in News
@Dashrender Yes, that can be done.
I use it this way because URLquery can, subjectively speaking, take a while if there are a lot of relay links (I found one site that had over 500 calls to other sites just by following one link), so I start by decoding the short URL to check where it's going. If I've never heard of it or I'm still suspicious, then it's off to URLquery.

We are at the beginning of harvest. The hay and canola is almost finished while the barley, lupins and wheat hasn't started yet.
