    • Lenovo Bypass BIOS Options

Hello everyone. Thank you for your time, any suggestions and help if you can offer any.

I'm setting up a lot of laptops at the office. As I prep them, I set them to the side to let them do it's unattend setup. However, after being set to the side for so long, I may have forgot the password that I put on one of them. I'm trying to use a Admin bypass key. I need to get into the bios so I may select to boot from USB. I've tried (FN +) F2, F8, F10, F12, ENTER and Delete. Nothing works! It keeps going straight to the login screen. When I try to reset password, it's asking me for security questions that I don't recall setting up.

Most of Google's lead tells you to log in then go to settings. I can't log in. Or the scenario doesn't relate to what I'm doing.

I looked up the warranty and it ended months ago.

I'm stuck with a thick question mark in my head.

Is there an Lenovo hero out there to save me?

      Model: V145
      Type: 81MT

      @MrWright4hire
I feel for you. I am a father. But you have to understand, you were not clear or accurate in your post.

Let me explain why I was suspect by your post.

      1. This statement "Enclosed, please find the LINK that explains some of the issues I'm facing and what I would like to achieve globally." Is less than accurate in the first half and unclear/confusing in the second half. The link said LINK, not a verbose description of the link. The link goes to a shortened URL, one I did not recognize. "achieve globally"? I thought you were looking to advance your cause not ask for money.

      2. I did not recognize your name.

      3. I clicked on your profile link, and see that you have posts, reputation, and have been a member since 2014. This is good.

      4. But then I looked at the URL in your profile

which of course doesn't work. It doesn't matter if this is a typo, or the faults of the BB software, in today's cyber attack age, careful internet users would never click that link from their daily driver.

      1. So even though I have no reason to have ill feelings toward you, and as a father, I do feel for you; I was very suspect.

      2. Your post link and profile URL lends itself to be possible spam/click bait.

So, no offense intended, I wish you well and success for your son.
I can honestly say, had I been given a more clear understand and been informed in advance you were looking for assistance to fund your cause, I would have contributed without hesitation. I may still choose to contribute, but all of this could have been avoided with clarity.

JasGot now that I read how you so eloquently explained you and others position on the matter, I do apologize. I also want to apologize to Mango. Although I was given the go ahead, It wasn't my intention to give them a bad impression of any of their members.

I had just finished court and despite of all what the judge said about how it's only right for me to be in my son's life, her lawyer still writing up motions that shows other wise. As much as I do need funds for a representative. I equally want to bring awareness to the cause. There are soo much pain in father groups on social media. Should I be blessed to get custody of my boy, I will not give up on trying to figure out a way to help future parents, better yet, the kids who miss their mommy or daddy due to some stupid ish. We have to do better for our baby's sake.

Once again to all, with the exeption of the idiots. I do apologize. I wasn't thinking clearly. I was focusing on savign my son, other hurt parent and possibly saving other kids.

Even though I'm leaving my post up, JasGot I hope you and the others can f'give me. I apologize for not seeing it you guys way.

The trickery was with willful intent, that much is easily clear from the wording and url shortening on a forum you can easily create a text link. Everyone knows its only done if there is something to hide.

Nothing wrong with asking for help and linking to funding help site, the issue is with the intentional deciet and lies, then defending it, and it also not really being the place for it IMO. Perhaps you would have much better luck on Facebook getting money and/or prayers.

Many of us are parents too, and feel for you, but wouldn't do what you did on here if in the same situation.

Obsolesce, you really should represent your name to the fullest. For the record, I asked if I could post on here before I posted. The shortening of the url isn't of my doing. It's what Go Fund provide you when they encourage you to share. I'm very transparent about my intentions, hence why I asked if I could post on here as well as share the content of what I was about to post before I posted it.

Nevertheless, the process that I took to post my story isn't as important as my story. However it's funny how you idiots, Yes I said idiots! Specifically the nay sayers and trouble makers. How you made the process more important than the my story. And how you added your own speculations as to me being trickery and trying to fool you guys is beyond absurd. That would be like taking a beat up Volts wagon on a race track trying to get some investors to sponsor me. No where did I state that I wanted anyone in my post to give money. All I asked was to bring some awareness.

You have now polluted my intentions to those who could possibly benefit from my story turn away from my story.

Thanks for nothing and increasing the stress that I'm already dealing with.

If your main goal was to educate, you'd have posted the whole story, then perhaps said, by the way, I've started a GFME page, if you want to donate, I'd appreciate it, or something to that effect.
Instead you took the time to hide the link behind a link tag.

Dash I guess you going to tell me how to wipe my butt too. I did it the way I felt like doing it. I didn't have any malice intent behind it. What's the difference between you clinking a link and decide that you don't want to read my story and or donate verses doing it the way you suggested? Are you so lazy that you sweat hard to click a mouse button and change your mind?

You have to stop forcing your standards on others and concluding that it's malice because someone did it different than how you would.

This message is focused on the remarks that found my post a waist of time.

It's funny how people minimize someone's struggles until they go through it. No one support cancer until they or someone in their family has it. I wasn't trying to provide a click bait. If you read the title and entered the post, then you are more than likely a Father. Most of your negative remarks are the main reason why us men are the dumbest between the two sex. We don't want to support one another, we don't want to be educated about anything and we damn sure don't want to stick up for one another like women. A woman can hear about another woman's issue around the world and start a march. We men, we will take another man's pain and call it a click bait.

I didn't expect any of you to donate anything, I was only trying to provide a wake up call by sharing my story, regarding parental rights, with respect to Covid. At the same time, I'm doing all I can to find help for my son. If you are a Father then you know you don't like seeing your baby sick.

In advanced, I do apologize to those who's intellect are only limited to the walls of technology and lack empathy. To those who were understanding to my cause, thank you so much. If you don't mind, please share my story.

Should you find yourself in my situation, I pray that I would have provided enough attention for you, by then, to be able to get proper support for you and your child.

Thank you to all, merry Christmas and may all you Father never experience what I'm going through.

    • A LIFE AND FATHER'S ISSUES, NOT TECH

Hello MangoLassi family. I humbly come before you with an issue that I can no longer tackle on my own. Like most you, I'm a parent to a wonderful child. Unlike most of you Fathers, I'm dealing with a mom who is trying to keep me out of my son's life. My situation, in the law community, is one of the first of few that has now gone viral across North America to dispute those parents who tries to use Covid as a reason to deny the other parent access with their child. Enclosed, please find my GO FUND ME LINK that explains some of the issues I'm facing and what I would like to achieve globally. It is my intention to bring awareness to such cause. Should you care to donate to the cause, THANK YOU. However, spreading the word is most important to me.

Please share this with others and help me bring awareness to this issue that's damaging a child's life and encouraging parents, mostly Fathers, to give up on life due to the lack of support and the abundance of emotionally and mentally pain.

      Please help spread the word.

Thank you all for your time, attention and most of all support.

Thank you all for your feedback on Zabbix monitoring software. However, I'm looking for an actually daily checklist that one may have developed or came across to do daily checks for Network Admins.

Do anyone know or have such a checklist?

Other than the unexpected, I'm curious to know if there is anyone out there that has a Network Admin flowchart or some routine that they swear by on a daily. Like some sort of checklist.
Insight on network monitoring tools would be nice as well.

Allow me to be there first to say Merry Covid Free Christmas to all!!!!!

In advanced, thank you for your efforts.

Have any of your users been not able to send at all? I am not seeing that right now.

Great question dbeato! Here's the thing, I myself tried to email the same address while monitoring it from Barracuda. Nothing showed up as going out. It's strange cause we received email from the address.

Welcome everyone to my thoughts. I would like to first ask if anyone has and or know of any update tutorials as well as materials to study CCNA. Any help would be appreciative.
I'm preparing to go for my CCNA and venture off into security. However, I'm seeing a lot of companies expresing that they recognize that experience is more important than those who just have their certification. It really depends on who you go to and or talk to.
      What are your thoughts?
