RE: Consulting and D&*^ing around with customers
Yes we have. And Yes we have contracts. Companies generally don't see the value of your service after the fact. We always expect up front on all work of at least 50% of estimated hours.
For emergency services we now do a $1000 deposit on services before we do anything. They also have to sign a quote on estimated time to fix their issue.

RE: VeeamON!
The conference was great for me as the head of GroveSocial and for NTG as well. Love that my hobby and my day job blend together so well. I did not attend much of the technical things. I was there to see how the conference was done. I did attend some sessions but really I just positioned myself in busy seating areas and asked questions of those attending.
I was able to get a couple questions answered for @NetworkNerd that he wanted to know about V8.
This conference is very much centered around Veeam's software that the vendors that support them. If you have questions I can try to answer them but I was there as a Media Analyst so very different view of the conference than many of you would have.

RE: Looking for MangoCon Trainers
The idea is as deep as the hour allows for each session. So GPO 101 is one hour and then GPO 102 will be another hour. Scale and NTG and Xbyte are sponsoring the lab. So there will be a FULL lab with a way to play with everything in it that you will be learning (or at least that is the plan).

RE: SpiceWorld London 2015
