This makes me understand the need for documentation and wikis a lot more. Do you guys find that not everyone documents their process well, or is it overall a common thing that everyone does?

When would it be a good idea to use a RAID 0? If you are always faced with total failure, what's the point?

A few of the practice questions on the A+ deals with mac filtering. Is that what he is talking about when configuring each instance of the OS with it's own address or is this another layer you can add on?

I thought an OS memory usage was not that high...is this not the case?

I'm a little confused by this. If the OS can't see a hardware based RAID, what do you do with it? Also, is a desktop with 2 hard drives considered a RAID 0?

What is the reason for hot swap hard drives? No downtime?

Would you ever need a multi port ethernet on a desktop?

Most desktops don't come with motherboard documentation, is there a way to find it?

So if your PC loses power and you lose everything you were doing, how does chrome ask to refresh your last session? Is it something in their software?

@scottalanmiller couldn't you use one to reset a flash BIOS if needed and was available? I had a question in an earlier video about resetting the BIOS if it was flash and you couldn't get to the BIOS screen.

@connorsoliver I went on an image search of motherboards this morning. The Asus 99 deluxe only has a south bridge if you want to take a look.

I had a motherboard that fried a couple years ago so I took everything apart just to see how everything fit in. It was fun and I didn't even think about the CPU pins, good advice here.

He said to check your documentation as to what kind of RAM chip you have, where would I find that info? Will the BIOS screen show that?

@Dashrender that makes sense. The video kind of led me to believe it was more of an issue than it actually is I guess.

If we are approaching size issues with the PCI, why don't we just put in more PCI Express slots instead?

@Dashrender I should have been more clear, I meant on the newer machines where you can't just pull the battery.

Are there more issues with heat with the smaller boards? Also what are the expansion slots used for?

If your graphics card was failing would that show up in the diagnostics as well? This will be a great tool if you suspect hardware failure. As to the fake BIOS, if you make changes in the virtual environment will it show you a reflection of those changes?

Is there anyway to recover a system when the BIOS doesn't install correctly?
