RE: Multiple event logs with side by side comparison
It was going to be a one time thing, but I will be looking into those suggestions tomorrow morning once I get in, right now I'm running around like a chicken with it's head cut off with Office 365 needing reactivation everywhere. I was able to narrow down for this issue to a couple of culprits for my problems. Thank you Sรฉnior

RE: Multiple event logs with side by side comparison
@scottalanmiller I'm just looking for something where I can put them all side by side or even match up error events between 10 days and a specific time frame of 11 pm to 9 am the next day. Its just to put an ease to my eyes as between 2 monitors I still have no space & very tiny fonts. I'm trying to figure out what is causing our backups to hang up in the middle of the night to early morning. The past couple of months they've been going for almost 20 hours one day but then the next day like 7.5 hours, & it is sub 400GB. All the backup settings are correct & the task was re-setup just in case. I am matching up all those days with really long backups & seeing if there is anything. If that helps any, & if you have a suggestion that would help me try to get this figured out I'm willing to learn. it.

Multiple event logs with side by side comparison
I was wondering if anyone knows of some type of software that would allow me to compare about 10 different days (non sequential) with the same time frame. I've been doing side by side event viewer windows but doing that many days takes up too much monitor real estate not very helpful trying to look everywhere at once.

RE: Linphone Ghost Calls
Just got in today & was wondering if there was any luck figuring this out?

RE: What Are You Doing Right Now
I just got done going through all the past topics that caught my eye, cleared the 20+ icon & now 1 min from being out for the night. Everyone have a good morning, good afternoon, & goodnight.

RE: Linphone Ghost Calls
@scottalanmiller There is also this looks to reiterate the same thing but more clear compared to the other thread. http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/1977342
Other than that the rest of the sites I've seen all pretty much point to it being a scanner of some sort. -
RE: For anyone who hates the look of Office 2013
I'm glad I really took the time to go through older posts on here, Thank you for this @Nic. Now if only I can get a white text on black background & I'll be happy.

RE: GOG Spring Insomnia Sale

Broken Age available now. Looks like a great game and it is in my wishlist but it is only 40% off. I'll wait a year or two until it goes on "real" sale. I've got nearly 110 games ready to play with my kids, don't need any more in the backlog at this point. Has to be a pretty amazing deal for me to jump on it. Although for $14.99, this is probably a very good deal
Spoken like a true gamer

RE: GOG Spring Insomnia Sale
Makes sense, the only reason I had the images was for the same reason on not looking for the discs & having them easily accessible. But I did that before it became as easy as it is to find whatever games you wanted online. (legally I should add)

RE: GOG Spring Insomnia Sale
Watching that bar go down is fun, but good call on buying them. fell in love with 5 a while back & even got my dad addicted to it for a while. I would buy them but I know I have atleast 5 & 6 somewhere on disc, also on a backup hard drive images of the discs for easy mounting.

RE: Learning pfSense any ideas?
I mentioned the idea for the machine or VM to my superior and it looks like it is a go. Sometimes I need a slap in the back of my head when it comes to real IT thinking. We went from being apart of another department doing half IT/half pricing stuff, with their budget mixed in, the pricing stuff more important, & extremely underpowered hardware. We (Finally) split off in December of last year & I helped in the process of selecting and installing shiny new machines for our users, for our registers & new servers. Of course along the entire process I've had the help & plethora of info from you awesome people.

Perfect timing. I think that I mentioned pfSense specifically. This just went live this weekend...

Thanks you, I'm checking it out right now.

RE: Learning pfSense any ideas?
@JaredBusch That is actually a good idea, up until recently the idea of setting up a test machine or VM wouldn't even pop up in my head, limited to no hardware & very limited resources for a VM. Also I like to break things

Learning pfSense any ideas?
I'm looking to learn more in depth about the pfSense Router/Firewall software. An admin before me set one up & hadn't shown us anything on it. I can do basic stuff within the web interface but want to learn more about it so we don't have to rely on the other guy as he is an outsourced & not contracted "helper admin". Right now we are paying him if something goes wrong to mess with it & still not tell us anything about it. So any sites or lessons anyone knows of would be greatly appreciated. Also what are your thoughts on pfSense as a product? Pros & cons & is there anything better?

RE: What Are You Doing Right Now
Just finished with my Lamminator project. Took longer than expected & I didn't think it would be as fun as it was but it was.

RE: What Are You Doing Right Now
Listening to Some Mo-town & Frankenstein-ing these two laminating machines with another one & hopefully create one fully working laminator. Either that or I accidentally create The Voltron of Laminators.
