For this kind of programs I use runasspc
http://www.robotronic.de/runasspcEn.html
It creates an encrypt certificate with the user and password with admin rights to execute the program as Admin.
It's easy to do.
This is a work around I'm currently deploying, but it makes things a real hassle because the application is running as another user, hence my documents, printers, etc are all on another profile, not the user's.
I really want to solve this in the user's own space.
Yes, I know it's a real hassle, but sometimes it's faster create a new profile that use other alternatives like Process Monitor.

Was flash up to date? What about 7zip? Any older software?
I think Flash is the problem also.

You can change permissions for the "desktop" folder . I don't know of a GPO for it off hand, but here's a site that's rather helpful with policies.
Thanks for the Link.
@scottalanmiller said in Cloud Backup:
S3 is for "nearline" storage. Things that you are going to access quickly. Glacier is archival storage, things that you can wait a bit to retrieve and will not retrieve often. Glacier is much cheaper to store, but much more expensive to retrieve. So if you are very unlikely to need to retrieve it and don't need it quickly, Glacier is better.
Thanks, I think Glacier It's best option in my case.
Can I make a Mirror Copy in Glaicer ?
Hi.
I want , if company allow me, to make a backup copy of all the data company in the Cloud.
My idea is make a "mirror" of the local Data in the cloud the weekend, all the data including VMs and Databases is about 6TB.
The Backup will be only recover in case of a big emergency, I have a Nas and Tape Backup.
Looking in Amazon I see two options S3 and Glaicer, but I'm not sure what's the best option in my case, or if there are other cloud providers.
Can someone guide me with this ?
Thanks
I recommend you the Pi 3 instead the Zero, with Pi Zero you lost Wifi, Ethernet and Bluetooth.
Wifi Adaptors does not work fine in Raspberry.
Looks great !!
Thanks for the doc.

I just can say that buy a house in USA is cheaper than in Spain.
Good look.
Where are you looking in Spain? Everywhere I've seen in Spain was a fraction of US prices.
Cities in Spain are really expensives, just check this webpage
Remeber last 4 year prices down about a 30%
When I was in Madrid last year, prices were about 20% of that in Texas, one of the cheapest parts of America. 20%.... 80% lower. Spain is so cheap that we talk about buying homes there on a whim when we can't afford them in the US.
Look for the price of a house in Madrid, or near to Madrid, Alcobendas, Alcorcón...
Also remember the salary in Spain repect to USA.

@aaronstuder said in Encrypted flash drives:
Remember that a VeraCrypt Volume is just a file. It can have no extension or it can have a fake one. I normally fill the flash drive with a bunch of unimportant unencrypted documents, as well some VeraCrypt Volume's named TPS_Report.xls, pics.zip, etc. Any normally person finding the USB drive, just assumes that those files at corrupted, and deletes then or better yet just wipes the drive and reuses it.
Same think I do in my PenDrive using Veracrypt.
Veracrypt is great and Free!!!
@BBigford said in Temporary Profile logged in...:
I've looked through so many YouTube videos and forum posts over many months on this... All comes down to removing the registry entry. Can't believe that nobody has posted anything other than that. Considering that this happens on different, much faster networks, logging into the DC, and logging into it for the very first time so a profile couldn't even be loaded to be corrupted.
Anyone?
I've this problem may times, only way to solve ii It's changing the windows register
I did not found any other way to do it.
