My best recipe is while your young work for companies for 2-4 years and then dump them.
Yup, when you feel that work is repetitive and you mastered it that is time to go.

Shuffle many companies and with each jump try to earn more and understand what you want from the position and what you can give.

I learned a ton shuffling my ass to like 4 companies, and I think it is big plus. Especially if you get recommendations and not like Fired.

Warning you may suffer alot of stress using this way, but your young you should be able to recover.

While I understand what your saying, and it is the ''pure way'' its not that I dont want to learn new things, its just I want to be quick at deploying VMs, and having a tool for me is much preferred.

But will try to keep that as an option, I do deal with virsh shell, but in very humble mannor, like Virsh Destroy and list --all and start/shutdown. But down the road I will learn more.

Since you said single side scanning, I will suggest the Samsung m2070fw it might be cheap, but man it does everything. and on the network using WiFi with very easy to use software.

Its black and white only, but there is another version for it with colors, But this one is very decent A4 printer, and dont trust folks that tells you it can work only for home, I have seen 20-30 people using this small thing and it working. But sadly there is no scan to email function. just network scan.

Best of luck, if you pull this off, you will be your own boss.

Thanks. My only concern is I will be trading a much shorter commute for more working hours. Will I even see my kids during the week besides when they are already in bed?

I think at first you will be busy, but one bonus is that if you succeed, you can bring your kids to work, and they will mess with the employees and the employees will have to take it and be nice to them.

Sure I can just VPN to the 2nd office and check.

I got them the color one caused I liked the software of the m2070fw

Due note that I noticed the color variant have metro like software interface which was buggy, but fear not just head to m2070fw and download the software for it and it will work fine (network scan)

And it is ... Samsung c480fw

Colors are great, but paper tray is a bit on the small standard side, other than that its great.

At the end of the day there are many millions of women out there, cute and not cute. my point is dont help people that dont want or afraid to help themselves, it is total different scenario if she requested help/assistance but if not dont get involved.

Yo never know, maybe she is benefiting something. even if she was not benefiting, she needs to speak up . does she have working mouth and legs and hands, if she is handicapped that is another thing, if not forget it. dont get involved.

    • RE: Starbucks says it will accept crypto currency, but not bitcoin

      @irj

Makes sense, I am tired of crypto currency being equal to bitcoin.

Bitcoin is the first version of it, think x86, and then other versions like x86-x64 with enhancements.

Bitcoin gave unfair advantage to greed instead of community, it allowed people to get GPU + special mining ASIC modules and gave them power up.

My money is on MONERO, it actually tried to punish and limit people that use GPU, and that makes sense, instead of wasting earth electricity, we all have computers, and if you ran task (you can only make it 1 core task from your quad or hexa or 8 cpu) on that computer and you believed in something that is value, then guess what we will have 1,000,000 computer running in network that belives the same thing, and that creates value, and stable network, instead +of ASIC and GPU Farms belonging to 1 person or country and it is hell alot better than Banks, cause you learn cause it is open to some degree, cause you can be teller + miner + receiver +sender all using computer + internet which makes sense, I dont know why we have to deal with current system that instead of focus on security just throws all the money on insurance, so it is okay if bank gets robbed or hacked, when we can learn how to secure it yourself and be involved. Hell if you think about it what makes 50 dollar bill, a 50 dollar instead of 1 additional number than 5 dollar bill. so we can create value to those currencies, but it is abit weird having to believe in all of the variations, just like dealing us US dollar or Canada dollar or EURO, most people will just deal with the US dollar (like bitcoin) even though there are better choices outthere.

I cant understand one thing, what does Windows XP has or can do that Linux does not, especially anything with LXDE interface, which looks much better than XP.

How hard was it to install Lubuntu or Fedora LXDE spin ? and it have it update security updates by default, problem solved.

Why would someone rely on XP in 2017, what great asset it has by default ?

Yh i still use Windows 7, which I understand if they did, but XP... sheesh

Do they have nuclear software that was created by .NET 1.0 ?

    • KVM nested virtualization ? stable and why would you ?

      Hi,

So I have been seriously playing with KVM lately, and to test it out I installed it on ESXi 6.5 server as Centos 7 VM with the ability to pass VT-d extensions which is supported by ESXi (also workstation).

Why I did this, cause I need to test KVM on real server hardware, and the real server already had ESXi installed.
And I am liking it more and more each day, its stable and have better options compared to ESXi standalone server, and you can clone vms easily, of course I cloned the KVM guest server and made 2 KVM servers, and the ability to move VMs offline (not live migration) was very easy, and simple. I was not able to perform a successful live migration yet.

So this got me thinking, why would anybody run KVM nested ? one idea came to my mind is perhaps somebody can do the opposite of what I did which is to run KVM then run ESXi 6.5 guest machine, but the real head scratcher for me is WHY this is needed in production environments ? is it only a testing thing, that I can understand.

So why do you run nested virtualization, also I tested this with VMware workstation back in the day and I know that nested virtualization feature in VMware is stable, is KVM the same ?

      Many thanks.

      @mlnews

      More resources:

"Although the worm is camouflaged to look like the infamous Petya ransomware, it has an extremely poor payment pipeline. There is a single hardcoded BTC wallet and the instructions require sending an email with a large amount of complex strings (something that a novice computer victim is unlikely to get right.) If this well engineered and highly crafted worm was meant to generate revenue, this payment pipeline was possibly the worst of all options (short of "send a personal cheque to: Petya Payments, PO Box …"). The superficial resemblance to Petya is only skin deep. Although there is significant code sharing, the real Petya was a criminal enterprise for making money. This is definitely not designed to make money. This is designed to spread fast and cause damage, with a plausibly deniable cover of "ransomware."
