LOL, awesome! I feel a little sorry for the teacher, having to deal with a tooth removal on the 1st day!

RE: Matt and Michael from Symantec on Hope is Not a Strategy
There should be tshirts with "Hope is not a strategy" on them. That is an epic slogan.

RE: tired
After translating what PSX said into slightly less abrasive language, he's absolutely right. Even if your employer is saying it's fine with them that you were late again, don't think that they are going to forget it. You now have 2 strikes against you in not even 2 weeks of work. Every employer I've ever had would have probably dismissed you on the spot after showing up hours late without calling in for hours after you were supposed to be there, especially your 2nd week on the job. That's a no call - no show. If I were you, I would be kissing as$, doing exactly what I'm told, and not rocking the boat, as well as making sure you're early from now on.

What's wrong with a too-tight shirt that says "cheap. fast. easy. just the way you like it."? That should be the only way to wear it!
Mine is tight in just the right spot to make the slogan especially appropriate, lol.

I didn't read the rest of this post, but when did you get a small rack?
I didn't say "my small rack" cause we all know I have the opposite of that.

RE: Belief in People
@scottalanmiller Are you saying that I shouldn't just go along with what you say, just because you are SAM?

I think the problem is that SMBs don't realize they are talking to the Hummer dealer. They are uneducated in the realities that the vendor only cares about themselves, they don't care about the client (well you know what I mean).
Yeah, I guess, it's just that I can't understand how they don't know this? I think that non-technical people get so discombobulated when having to make decisions about technology that all logical thinking gets thrown right out the window.

I hear ya! Though I am slightly less introverted than I used to be.
On the inside, I'm still as introverted as ever, but Scott is always dragging me to stuff where I have to PRETEND to be outgoing. So exhausting!

RE: Lenovo Runs Scam Contest at SpiceWorld
Mike from Lenovo sent me a FedEx tracking number.

RE: Extrovert Stuff
@scottalanmiller What you say is true, except that I danced my a$$ off at the 80s party, and then, like the Pied Piper, I led forth a group to the after party, all the while yelling "The party continues at TOUCHE'S!!" and I'm talking YELLING, yelling. Ask the people that were there. I also may or may not have molested a couple of innocent bystanders, who then joined us at Touche's. So, success!

RE: Reinstall Windows on Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro
We had to blow EVERY partition away, and after the installation finished, the very first thing I did was test Mango Lassi, and guess what? It works now. Off to install windows updates.

We gonna have some new fruit tarts here in MangoLassi soon?
Are you suggesting that we call ML members "fruit tarts"? Just trying to follow the conversation...

RE: Unread Instead of Notifications
I only want to see things related to me in notifications, and unread on the unread page, just like it is now.

@scottalanmiller No, he meant to say "Biscotti's"

RE: Windows 10... Finished in June?
In ref to the OP, I did find describing Windows 10 as "finished" in June to be fairly ominous. Like "sleeping with the fishes" ominous. Perhaps we have the same sense of humor?

RE: Unitrends Redefines "Free" Virtual Backup
@coliver Okay, that's what I was thinking it probably meant, but I'm not always up on the lingo. Like every time @scottalanmiller says "ack" to me I think he's complaining, but he's actually using it as "acknowledge".

RE: Even New IT Guy....
I think a sign of maturity in the field is realizing that just because someone before you did something a different way, doesn't mean you need to rip and replace an environment to make it exactly to your preference.

RE: Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro Does Not Go Full Screen in Many Games
Okay, here's the update:
I downloaded the current driver directly from Intel, tried to install it, and got the error that it wasn't certified for my machine, so I needed to get the driver directly from Lenovo. I went to Lenovo (huge pain in the ass because it detects me as Nicaragua and will only give me that site in Spanish) and eventually managed to find the Windows 10 driver for this machine. It is from July, and I'm pretty sure it's the one that was giving me problems before, but I decided to download and install it anyway and cross my fingers that I wouldn't have the same problems this time. After installing, I opened one of the problem games and it goes to full screen. So for now, this is resolved, but if I start having the screen flicker issues again, I'm going to have to just live with not playing those games until Lenovo updates the driver.
