Yeah, it does suck. When vendors that still had Office 2010 jacking up their prices it got bad. I'm just doing the VL without SA right now.

He already tried that by moving the files to the desktop, changing the path.

So either the path length is the cause or something about the file table is broken.

Yeah, forgot that. I had a problem when copying project files from a network drive where the path was really at the border. So to move them to another server, I had to create a mapping to that location to shorten the file path and then it was able to do so.

Honestly, not sure that it will make any difference, but figured since you are pretty close, why not eliminate that as a variable.

I was bummed also. Since I'm virtual now, I just created and updated the trial and then turned it into a VM Template. Doesn't really take much to spin up a quick one when needed.

It's funny I just saw this thread. I've been running single jobs for awhile now and just redid my backup today to do it in one job. Primarily to see how the deduplication will reduce the total backup size, and hopefully the time it takes for me to drop that to tape later. And by the way, Veeam One is pretty awesome.

I've done this for a Gold Partner before. The big thing I remember was to get customers to acknowledge some projects that you use for each competency. It wasn't too difficult. If I remember, it was just have x number of certified staff and then get project references.

If you ever get a chance, a few other series that were good. If you can find them, try Thieves World. It was a written by many different authors and is very good. For new stuff, My newest favorite author is Patrick Rothfuss. Check out "The Name of the Wind." Just excellent.

Current reading the last of the Traitor Spy Trilogy by Trudi Canavan.
