Yes, the boss and I have the same entire PC brand new HP Elitedesk 800 G1 SFF.

If it was the video driver, I would expect the whole monitor to flicker, not just a very specific part of the screen.

@technobabble, no my monitor has only flickered twice that I've noticed since turning it on 6 days ago.

SQRL - Secure Quick Reliable Logon - ever heard of it?

FYI, using SQRL doesn't mean that a website won't still want a second way to verify someone's identity, etc.

Many of the doubters look at websites that use an email address as a logon name. These websites are getting a two for one benefit. SQRL does not get this. If the site wants to provide away to 'reset the user's password,' the site will need to find another way to verify identity, i.e. an email address, questions and answer, text message - whatever they want to use.

      Whatever is on sale.

They are all pretty much the same now. PNY is another good, standard brand.

They really are. Especially when speed doesn't matter and there are few writes.

I don't know about poor write speeds. Never had issues with them personally.

Don't care about poor write speed either if it is only going to be used for a bootable image. it will only be used read only after it is configured.

OK, in digging more into it.. it seams that Apple needs to do what Google did a few years ago.. Merge all of their accounts a single one. The app store and the iCloud appear to be able to be separate accounts (though perhaps that's only for legacy people).

You can choose to use different google accounts for sync too. It is all in the user decision making process. I mean, yeah if would never want to use different ones just because, but you can.

As for all of those other accounts my account has access to being in a single profile - maybe it's an Outlook 2013 thing, but they are all there now by default.

I logged into a new computer, setup Outlook 2013 - bam all of those aforementioned accounts show up in the list down the left side.

Perhaps I didn't see them on my desktop because I always have my folder list open and there's enough of them that they push the other users accounts off the bottom...

Thought I would pass that along.

I've done something similar with ring groups. Have a set of extensions that are where most phone calls are answered ring says 2-3 times and then if the call isn't taken in that time it fails over to another set of ring groups for other people to answer. There's probably a better way of doing it though.

This is how it works right now with some of our other groups, and it's not working for us.

I would love a smart queue - when breaching 5 people in queue, add person 1, if I'm still over 5, add person two, if I'm still over 5, add person three, etc. Then when each of those persons hangup, the system asks, are there still more than 5 calls in that queue, if yes, transfer one to this now open line, if not, remove them from the queue.

We went looking at what they had in the local stores this afternoon so she could get a rough idea of what was out there in this market - and she shot down anything larger than what she already has...

What's the exact model so I can get perspective?

We do the bulk of our SIP (internal and customers) on the open Internet. The sound quality issues are tiny, but the reliability and cost savings are huge.

I mean @scottalanmiller talks about subscription allowing "businesses better options to protect themselves, grow and excel.", but I can tell you that there is nothing in the new version of Photoshop or AutoCAD that will add any real value to our business.

AutoCAD you might be right, but at least the previous version of Adobe CS did add some pretty awesome new features.

Things like AdBlock Plus, just as one example. However, it's finding plugins/extensions/add-ins that you might not have realized existed, just by browsing the repositories, that turn out to be big time savers. I'm more upset at the IE basically not encouraging people to develop for it.

      Um, http://www.iegallery.com/Addons/Details/16161

The thing is sure there are a lot of plugins for chrome, but who wants them or uses them? most of them are of very poor quality. The less add ons the better.

Same issue as Android. Yeah it has the biggest software library but mostly it is a lack of quality control and sprawl. There isn't more on Android that I want, just more. It's not a bad thing, but not a positive either.
