So the WTH of the day.

Driving down a back road in my town. Come up on a pickup truck pulled along side on my side of the road. Some guy standing in the back..... facing across the road to the field. I glance over notice a bunch of deer (like 60 or so) glance back up the idiot has a gun and is shooting at the deer.

Here are the issues:

1. He is shooting across both lanes (now to give him credit this road gets hardly any traffic)
2. It is not gun season here yet
3. He continued to shoot when I went by!
4. It is illegal to shoot within a certain number of feet of a road or house (at least there are no houses that close).

Did you call the police? That's a pretty heavy offense with regards to Dept of Fish & Game.

What's funny is that for me, going to a sporting event or a movie is a punishment, not a reward. Making me sit through a sporting event had better come with a pretty big alcohol budget.

I've been to a few with a friend who worked for a big time insurance company when they didn't have any clients to take, and we were always in box seats with an open bar.

One time, as part of a new promotion package from STAPLES Center, my friend and I got to sit in between the benches during a Kings game. It was so awesome.

1. Depends on which teams are playing at the game they're offering.
2. Do it anyways. As explained earlier, it's set aside in their marketing budget, so you shouldn't have any moral qualms about it.
3. For real though, who is playing?

Such a very different Microsoft. Hopefully they don't start pushing bad code.... even since Lenovo went bad I've hated the first through that pops into my mind, because I've been proven right so often now.

The beauty of open source is protection against that.

Born and raised in a hunting/fishing family. Not a fan of hunting because I'm not a fan of early mornings and sitting still. Fishing is my shit, though.

Back in 2008-2010, my brother, his friend, and I would take his friend's boat out onto a local lake from about midnight till sunrise fishing for lake trout. Some of my favorite memories.
