RE: Chrome or browser extensions that displays my IP address
You can use BGInfo (https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bginfo.aspx)
And then created a custom field following these instructions (https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/johnbaker/2011/05/04/how-to-remove-the-none-ip-address-entries-in-bginfo-background/) to create background info about your IP Address on your Desktop.

RE: XenServer Firewall
Also the template for Debian Jessie is HVM. If VyOS is based on Debian Wheezy then you would choose the template for Wheezy since that is PV.
-
RE: XenServer Firewall
Based on Debian. Not sure if its Wheezy(7) or Jessie(8).

@DustinB3403 Is it only read-only on the USB where XenServer is installed on? Maybe you can backup metadata to your EXT SR where your VMs are at.

RE: Storage Provisioning For a Single Hyper-V Server Setup
In response to converting from Desktop Experience to Core. You will have to do a fresh install.
"Unlike some previous releases of Windows Server, you cannot convert between Server Core and Server with Desktop Experience after installation. If you install Server with Desktop Experience and later decide to use Server Core, you should do a fresh installation."

Time Synchronization on XenServer Hosts and VMs
With Hyper-V, I can join the hypervisor to a domain and have its time sync from the domain controller.
And for the Windows VMs that are joined to a domain they also be using the domain controller to time sync. Hyper-V also makes it easy to disable time synchronization per VMs so I can use the domain controller or an external ntp server.
I'm curious about how XenServer admins manage time synchronization for their hosts and VMs?
