I tried a RAID10 once, and it failed... that's proof RAID5 is superior and nobody should even think about RAID10.

sometimes RAID 5 is better than RAID 10, it just depends on the specifics

I prefer RAID0! Anything else means you have no balls!

If I even use RAID10, I set it up with 3 drives... if you use 4, that's just one extra to fail!

2 drives + hot space, technically thats raid 1 but heh

Yeah, noone confirmed with me, but for a few mins I couldnt post last night, I think I got banned till they realised I wasnt really trolling

When it's only a few minutes, I normally attribute that to updates or my internet connection chocking. Not nearly as fun to think about as hitting an auto-spam filter I know

Modest? That's closer to a barn burner than a modest system I think. The only component you may be lacking in is the i5 rather than an i7, and that's mostly cosmetic.

Not really its an entry level current generation CPU, GPU with a bit of ram for video editing

Did you paint those components or are there actual white pc part innards now? What case is that?

All components are as bought, I was planning on spraying the black grille on the top of the case.
The white components do hold a price premium though...

I wanted the Asus SABERTOOTH Z170 S ATX because its sexy as hell (below) but it was too large for the case.
I also wanted the 1080 HOF because its much nicer but my budget didn't stretch that far and I wasn't sure it would fit int he case. (pic below too)

@travisdh1 Nice big rig, my main rig is pretty chunky but I never built a PC for looks before.
Here is my computer room (pc has been replaced though)
