More than a few of these names look familiar to me, but I'm Bud and I live in Norman, Oklahoma.
I like coffee.
Welcome, Bud. I think we'll get along just fine.

Or, it could smell like post-broccoli farts. Those will wake you up in a hurry.

@Bob-Beatty It is spelt correctly for English-speakers.
Spelt is a grain. The past-tense of spell is spelled.
Spelt is an alternate spelling for UK/Aussie English

May I once again remind you what country we are presently residing in?

We're Americans... spell it correctly!
Grey is my favourite colour. Gee, why does spell check put red lines under all of that? Cause that's not how it's spelled in America. -

It's funny that a lot of what we think of (at least those I have talked to) as 80's music was actually released in the early 90's. And, a good portion of the music that defines generation X was released in 1991 in particular. It's amazing how many pivotal albums were released that year.

It's a tough call, but don't we already have laws in place about stealing and murder?

Mostly 80's -90's, yeah.

@ajstringham I listen mostly to mainstream rock/metal. I have a few obscure favorites (that's how we spell it in the USA, btw...) but I enjoy a lot of simple mainstream stuff.

Nothing gets accomplished without some level of risk taken. It may be volatile, but isn't that the nature of something that is truly free? Regulation may sterilize the market for investor's purposes, but that eliminates the "free" nature of it and just makes it another government institution. Any great move/paradigm shift has winners and losers. The winners (speaking of investors here) take the same risk as the losers, but with 1 part savvy and 3 parts blind luck, someone comes out on top and some get beat up. That's the beauty of the true free-market. It's vicious, but tenacity pays off. In my opinion, the last thing we need is more regulation of anything. Those who are willing to sacrifice freedom in exchange for security will end up with neither, but instead, tyranny.

I kinda doubt it. A guitarist tends to sound the same no matter what he does; it's the style he plays. Petrucci is awesome, but I get bored listening to him.

Oh, and don't forget "The Way It Is" (Tesla). I love that one!

I put Queensryche in the same category as bands like Rush, Dream Theater, and other prog rock-ish bands. Are they under-appreciated? Maybe. Does anyone care? No. Great musicianship, but boring music to sit and listen to (maybe not so much for Rush, but you get the idea). I don't care how good they are if they can't hold my interest with their music.

Hmmm, popular Tesla songs? Love Song, their cover of "Signs", Modern Day Cowboy, Edison's Medicine, Heaven's Trail, ...
