Just starting the series now, not sure what to expect but very excited.

Is there a way to fix the physical hard drive?

Interesting how even back then with very basic computers, they knew that they would one day be an essential part of life. It was also cool to see the elderly people trying to grasp the concept of computers in episode 3. Now if only I could convince my grandpa to start using computers

Episode 5 down. The relationship between computers and telephones, and the technology of the modem is fascinating to me. Was this the basis of the internet?

Episode 7 Complete. I'm curious at to how common it was to have computers in the classroom back then. Anyone who are up in the 80's know if it was a regular things to be dealing with computers in classes?

Finished episode 8. This might be a dumb question, but is DOS still used today?

Is there a way to fix the physical hard drive?

If you get the blue screen of death on windows, do you have to reinstall the operating system? Or is there a simpler way to fix it?

So is IT always dealing server based problems?

So essentially you could have one beefy computer in a business or something similar that distributes virtual machines to other monitors? I can't really grasp how VMs work.

What would the benefits of using VDI be for personal use?

Would apples iCloud service be an example of a public or a private Cloud model. I know you have to pay for it, but everyone has the opportunity to access it.

How does the tone generator work exactly? How does it give different tones to different wires?

How common is MAN?

Isn't it possible to access data from servers in other countries while using a LAN instead of a WAN?

Is there any possibility of satellite internet connection becoming more popular and/or less expensive and more efficient in the future?
