Tonight: Architectural Updates
-
And we are back up! Please report if anyone has issues after this point. We believe that all is well.
-
OK that explains the delays...
-
I'm sure that there are questions. The change this evening was to move the application platform behind an NGINX web accelerator. We should have a little more flexibility now.
-
Sorry about the delays. Because we were changing ports and redirects we had to bring down the application for a minute or so there.
-
I'm totally cool with it.
FYI the 'edit' option in some of my posts are missing, though in this thread I see them on my posts now.
-
I just noticed an emoji not working. That's not a good sign. Going to attempt one here and see if this one works:
Nope, looking like those are having problems. Are images working?

nope
-
@Dashrender Existing images are working. I checked an old thread.
I looked at the page source the cake emoji that I tried to make is pointing to a port that isn't the web port.

That's an image of the word image. How did you do that?

Just special I guess. No really I choose a picture from my desktop and tried posting it.. it showed me the percentage as it loaded.. but then didn't load.

When I reply to you it says 100%, which means it didn't finish. I wonder if you jumped the gun. 100% uploaded but it hadn't returned the link yet.

Images seem to be working here. Just the emoji and I can see something really wrong there. No idea what it is though. I have a feeling that that will be one for the NodeBB people to look at.
-
Update seems okay here. Haven't seen nginx before. Had to look it up.
-
Still working here this morning. I'm on my iPhone now and all seems well.

MangoLassi Icon is Gone Broken Image
-

-

After the rollback I've not seen any issues.
