Hi all, so for a project I'm working on I'm trying to figure out a way to have Skype for Business use OBS (classic or studio) as a camera source.

So far I'm not getting very far along with this request. I can share out the desktop in SfB, but it renders at 3 maybe 4 FPS which not nearly good enough for it's intended usage.

Has anyone else tried this or have any recommendations that might lead me in the right direction?

What are you trying to use it for?

Well the use case is to present content in SfB meetings, with the presenter overlay'd on the content. The SfB is a "eh if it works great otherwise we could use this other software (vMix)"

We are able to use OBS in our preferred training platform, and it works far better than vMix.

But as customers start to use other platforms, we need to be able to adjust.

We aren't currently using OBS as of yet, its an on going project to button up.

I'll ping my SfB experts here and see what if anything they come back with. I am interested in this as well as we are a SfB partner and would be an interesting new direction to go

Honestly we gave up with SfB it was too laggy and crashed often it also didn't transition between desktops and cell phones well (didn't get all messages at the same time across both). So we jumped ship and went back to regular skype which is far better for screen sharing, presenting etc. (not that it is the greatest either).
