 Basically, X2Go rocks and direct TeamViewer alternatives seem to not exist outside of ScreenConnect.

NoMachine is the company that makes the NX protocol. That's all. X2Go is the free implementation of NX/NoMachine that we all use.

I used to use that and it was like X2Go. I think a while ago. If you want their terminal server version you have to pay for it. They also have a web based version, but it's also only the paid version.
