I always love to see how a community (any community) pulls together to help people find jobs etc. too. So if you all know of anything even if it's not in Austin. Let them all know!
Although trust me, pretty much everyone is going to fight to stay in Austin. Such a great place to be.
My best friend lives in Austin. He's never coming back to NJ
I have a buddy in Austin and he loves it.
-
I was only ever willing to move to Texas because of Austin. Sadly I never got to live there
-
I love Austin.
-
I should really go visit him but he's a professional student apparently. He never has a lot of time. Best friends since the third grade though
-
I guess I'm in the minority... I don't like Austin that much.
-
I really did enjoy Austin. I have some family there and have been meaning to go down and visit just to visit.
-
Then again, I don't like big cities very much either.
-
Let's go 12% + of their staff, and offers me $250 bucks.
-
That's not them offering you $250 that is the Vendor.
-
Ah, well that makes some sense.
-
Wow, just saw this news... but I'm not that surprised considering the activity over there had slowed to a trickle (and was often noob questions from people who have no business setting up systems). Plus the fact that they had been actively alienating their long time users. When my account got put into the moderation time out corner this last time, I stopped posting there altogether. If they cancel spiceworld, I better get my money back.
-
@RojoLoco I hear that! I got a little sick and tired of being chastised by their so called "moderators"....just long time users wielding power they should never have. I know I'm an abrasive S.O.B. but if you aren't in their little clique, expect that. Eye opening when I got to a certain spice level to see a closed forum where they talked shit about "lesser" spice level members. Sad.
-
I don't know if I have that private forum yet...
What level does that become accessible?
-
@DustinB3403 Thai...I think there are even more as you go up. Unconfirmed though.

Hrm so I must have it somewhere... I guess I've never noticed it.
-
This is what I have available to me.

Except I've gotten modded / chastised in their little private section because only certain members are allowed to talk smack. I am not one of them. I'm thinking about having a shirt made for spiceworld that says in large letters: Persona Non Grata.

The group is called "spicy peppers". You may have to search it since it is private.

This is not pinpointing anyone or anything just a friendly reminder. Let's not revel in the fact that they are having issues over there. I really feel horrible for those that lost jobs. The community has lost some great people it is sad to see how things have changed.
-
Yeah I don't seem to be able to find it, too bad.
