MangoCon is not your average IT convention. Most conventions are full of sales fluff, and lack valuable training for you to actually use in your day to day job. MangoCon is striving to be your Refreshing IT Convention. At MangoLassi.it we are seeking to be different from all the rest and also be valuable to your very real day to day IT needs.
At MangoCon, each day will be structured to allow for some time to check in with your jobs IT needs as well as give you time to speak to the Sponsor Vendors.
Proposed Agenda Timeline:
8:00am-10:00am
• Breakfast
• Work check-in time
• Vendor discussion time10:00am-1:00pm
• Two intense training sessions (3 tracks to choose from)1:00pm-2:00pm:
• Lunch
• Vendor discussion time2:30pm-5:30 pm
• Three Intense Training Sessions (3 tracks to choose from)5:30pm-6:30pm
• Networking6:30pm-8pm
• Dinner8:00pm
• Various snacks
• Entertainment and Networking time with Vendors and fellow IT pro’sThere will be a hands on lab for testing the things you will be taking training on.
Not only do we as IT professionals need more in-depth training, we need more time to learn about the hardware and software we do use and could be using every day. Vendors also need time to show us all that their products can do.Each day, a key vendor will have the opportunity to give anyone desiring more information about their products the ability to touch, dive in and learn the product.
Every minute of the day is designed to maximize the learning time and networking which also allows IT Pro’s to learn from each other. We have purposely designed a Conference will be an invaluable tool for any IT Pro.
Total cost of Training including all meals: $200/person
Total hotel costs per night: $119 based on single occupancy

We are still solidifying who is doing what.
Scott will be doing a live AMA
@art_of_shred Will be talking about backups and doing some AMA there
@JaredBusch will be doing some real world PBX training
and
I will be doing a little bit of AMA for those running their own businesses.We will also be doing a few panel discussions so that you can just ask what you need to know.

I think that getting some of those bios and full topic names out will help. AMA is a bit grey. I know that the sessions are grey but... something more would help with people presenting this.

I'm gonna be using vacation days to go to MangoCon and Spiceworld both. But the boss might reimburse the conference ticket costs for one (hopefully both). But I'm footing the travel costs myself.

Working hard to get green lit for this, I think I'm there but flight costs are seriously wacky right now. Trying to attend but avoid a 12-15 hour milk run flight schedule.

There are a few people driving TX, OH, MI and IL I believe so far.....
