I'll do that. They do message me pretty frequently.

I'm looking into a career in networking, generally speaking. I think a lot of knowledge comes with studying those certs. That's the real objective.
This is just personal experience here... but for me, I learned far more about networking after I landed a job in it than I ever did from getting my CCNA... It's very very important that you understand the principles of it, but not that you have every command memorized (unless you want the certs).
I'm going to say this at the risk of triggering Scott but I haven't seen ANY jobs not require certs here. So yeah, you're probably right but I still need to get the certs to get the job. They will at least teach me conceptually. I can build from there.

Hm. I'll start putting out a lot more apps then and report back to you guys. We'll see what happens.
One thing I can recommend, ask some people on here to review your resume. There are a few people on here like @Minion-Queen who does a ton of IT pro hiring.
I can't imagine anyone finding a lot of fault in my resume. It's one of the few things I am very confident about but I'll put it out there.

The CCNA doesn't cover all that much, in reality.
You are right... But I've got the concepts down and I'd not be afraid to work at a CCIE level or higher because of the experience that I got from the last network that I ran.

No offence, but this attitude tells me there is probably something that can be done better on your resume. I am by no means an expert, I had help from people on here and in the real world when I crafted mine.

You'd be surprised what I can find. I went through resume training at the top university in the US at one point (for whatever that is worth) and was a career counsellor for IBM and had my resume used directly as THE example resume by a multi-national consulting and staffing firm as the best example of a resume.
I was once interviewing a guy and he knew WAY too much about me. I asked how he knew so much and he said "Oh, I saw your resume, the staffing firms hand it out to people so that they can learn how to write theirs."
