Need to run a test install of 9.0 still /sigh..
I hope I can get this done this weekend and get my 8.X installs updated to 9 soon.

Currently going through the self-signed SSL portion of your guide (for testing only). I updated to 9.0.1 already though.

You need to put the certs in /etc/ssl/certs not /etc/ssl in order to avoid SELinux issues.

I'm actually getting an odd issue. It warns me I'm joining an untrusted domain but when I attempt to add it as a trusted domain it shoots back this error:
The page can't be displayed•Make sure the web address https://o is correct. <-- this is weird
I don't see that listed anywhere in any of my files.
In nano /var/www/html/owncloud/config/config.php it is listed exactly the same way your file is with the exception of it being my domain.

Upgraded one of my 8.2.3 installs to 9.0.1 last night. Had issues, and reverted to the pre-update snapshot.
posted on the ownCloud community about it for feedback. Did not have time to troubleshoot last night.
But the ownCloud community is completely devoid of developers and they want everything pushed to github issues apparently.

I copy & pasted into putty and just edited the website info. I'll try to figure it out.
