But you said that it was detecting in the machine. Is that the machine that is also the laptop? The question is, does the laptop detect the modem. Just yes or no.
-
@scottalanmiller Laptop detects the modem. The modem is also checked in the desktop which is working fine
-
Okay, if detected it will show up in the device manager. Any issues there? Exclamation point or anything? Is the driver loaded correctly?
-
@scottalanmiller There is no exclamation mark present.I have tried the drivers from the Dell site for Airplane mode. But the airplane mode is grade out
-
Where does airplane mode come from? Airplane mode has nothing to do with modems.
-
@scottalanmiller Right but when i disconnect the LAN cable the laptop is in Airplane mode only

So the issue is the airplane mode, not the modem? The modem is a red herring, perhaps?

@scottalanmiller What may be the solution for this issue?/
-
Can you completely disable or remote airplane mode?
-
@scottalanmiller I have tried by changing some regedit values but no use in it.
Whether any hardware issue ?? -
