Outlook - Forward all emails Except from specific people and allow Send on Behalf

  • "Dear Dustin,
Thank you for the info about the various ways of forwarding <Supervisors> emails to me. She wants for me to be able to send out emails on her behalf as well as to be forwarded all of her emails except for those send by the following seven people: Person1, Person2, Person2, Person4, Person4, Person4, Person4 and Person4. You had mentioned that there is a rule based approach or something on the server that could be done, so we would like to talk about that with you.

    Thanks,
    MK"

    Using Exchange Online?

  • Yes.

  • Check out mail flow rules in the Exchange Management Console. You can create a default bcc or forward rule except when the sender is one of the those people.

  • @coliver Yep, already did, and configured.

But unless he puts an official ticket in, it is not getting turned on.

And this isn't a matter of "I need this to do my job" its a matter of why the hell is this really needed?

Are you supposed to be a "blind employee" that no one but internal staff should know about?
