Powershell Gurus... what am I doing wrong?

You do know that the console would have given you the answer you seek for the PS command?
The output seems to say that you already set the mailbox to 100MB. Check it before you wreck it with:
Get-Mailbox <identity> | fl MaxSendSize

Oh Powershell, you always have such "useful" error messages
What PSX said seems logical.

It's basically saying "sorry bud, already setup this way"

Looks that way to me as well.

When I check the settings it was already set to 102MB. The user was still getting the error message because he did not exit and reopen outlook. Thanks everyone

Thwarted by a end user! I'm still trying to train myself to think non-technical cause / effect when presented with a IT problem, even after all these years Glad you were able to solve it!

It's usually management that causes that sort of problem, well except me of course
