Nope, I've been to Plattsburgh, my dad lives there, about 4 years ago, then drove through Buffalo, stopped at Niagara Falls before heading back to Nebraska.

Okay, break out the command prompt and go crazy. Here is the site:

That will work right from the Windows CLI or from a Linux shell or whatever. If you want something a little nicer, PuTTY on Windows is great.
It's a very small system and no one else is using it right now. I'd love to get a group of game designers who want to design levels and campaigns and stuff for it. We'd like to run a large scale MUD game just for fun. This is a pretty hardcore one that runs on Java and has a MySQL backend.

I've been all over the US too, Until the Blue Jays joined the Big East Conference I haven't had a reason to go to NYC except that it was NYC. Most of the other US cities I've visited in the past 9 years have been because of my Star Wars club (www.501st.com).
Speaking of NYC - I tried to get my wife to take the time to go to the Big East Conference (she's the one that follows the Jay's, I'm not into sports) and I thought it would be awesome to see their opening year (and Doug McDerrmit's last year) at Madison Square Gardens... but alas she's a teacher and refuses to take time away from her students (she's one of the good teachers).

I just read a thread in the VoIP forum over there that is absolute trash. The OP asked about a specific brand of PBX that he looked at and the thread turned into nothing but GG posting a "contact me" reply. This has absolutely no benefit to the community. There was very minimal useful posting in the thread from people like @scottalanmiller and @NetworkNerd among others.
Hell there is even flat out bad information about Asterisk based solutions from the Digium GG because he is pushing their SwitchVox solution.
Just really a horrible example of what SW is becoming.

@JaredBusch I'm floating around under a different name and account right now trying to help without using my spice level as a tool to prove how knowledgeable I am. Which I'm finding is quite an odd struggle, people see RAM. as Habenero and they ask me questions, acknowledge my knowledge, and don't always question me. Now I'm poblano and it's hard to even get recognized at all.
One more point to not being a fan of the ranking system there.

There is one outright troll that has been trolling so long there that he is habanero too. What a problem that is!

i hate trolls, I was trolled by someone who created separate accounts just to troll me on a single thread in sw. I reported that user, then he calls me a snitch. These types of forums aren't Reddit, and it irritates me to no end why people go out of their way to troll others. Either be useful or leave, pretty straight forward to me.

oh yeah what made it even better is the user PM'd me and admitted to doing that, saying it was fun because i seemed mad. I could tell he was a younger user since they were slinging around phrases such as yolo and crap like that.

not sure, i received a pm from a sw employee saying that if the user tries to contact me again to let them know. At this point I don't care and it's not worth my time to continue that, it was just annoying to have to deal with. One would think you could hope for some sort of professionalism out of users, but i guess not.

Hell I've been called a troll, and been told I was mean because I called a troll a troll. I like to feed them, because it flushes them out for what they really are.

I had tried to troll using another account, got banhammered in about 2 hours. It was called Slade02, and was going to be the anti-slade alter ego
