OWA Thoughts
-
Though I did read the article today, and it seemed to hint they thought Evernote was in trouble.
-
Somebody tell me how I can A) Set a custom Due Date on my Tasks, and I could ditch OWA... as a Bonus... Somebody show me how I can B) Show Tasks on the same page as my email, and I will drop Outbreak like a hot potato.

I found out today that you can have multiple things (e-mail, people, tasks) open on multiple tabs. So you could maybe space the windows in a way to replicate that.

Today's minor annoyance ... not being able to deal directly with .VCF attachments.
-
What kind of attachment is that?

I could do that... but that doesn't replicate Outlook (having all my info in one window.

I was already using Evernote and have just stuck with it.
Same reason I don't look at new TVs, I don't want to buy one.
But what if you could get a new one for free?

Today's annoyance.
What happened to NOTES? I see them, but they are an un-editable mail folder now?
-
I ended up moving back to Outlook.
My experiment with LibreOffice came to an end, so i decided to give Office365 a try.
One thing I like is how Outlook 2016 does look very similar to OWA, and how changes you make in either places (such as favorite folders) carry over.
-
Again I find Outlook so much easier to use than OWA or anything else. Does it have it's issues, well yeah, but so does everything else.

You use add-ons.. that's a major killer of web apps.
-
OWA has a few of them but they just don't work as well or as easily as they do in outlook.
-
First of all, Outlook is so much faster than OWA. People tried to convince my OWA was just as fast. No way. I can blow through stuff so much faster in Outlook.
This is especially evident in folders such as Clutter and Junk.
I also like how Outlook LOOKS. You can display the e-mail in a way you just can't replicate in OWA.
Now, I did gain a respect for OWA. And people are right, it does look VERY similar to Outlook 2016. I actually used it for a few weeks and didn't ever tear my hair out. But, it felt goooood to get Outlook back on my local machine.

Opposite experience here. What browser are you testing on?

I use Chrome, but tried them all. Well, also Firefox and IE and Edge. Not "all" of them.

I think I found made things better was to shrink the zoom on my browser to 800% or 90%. Seems to more closely replicate the application version.
That's a really big range!

What does Evernote do better than OneNote? OneNote is now free.
It is?
I believe so, yes.
