Ah,
So, 30 June 2016 mean No more Here Maps
Stay sauce: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2016/03/15/here_mappers_dump_windows_10_users/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=gplusSo much for that "universal apps" idea of Windows 10. Clearly it is "universally runs nowhere."

This is a point that you and I went round and round on. MS I don't think ever intended universal apps to be what you call call universal. They intended them to be runable from any place Windows 10 happens to be.

Eliminating all apps would make that an easier goal.

Well, it's here.
I had to download some stupid app called "Upgrade Advisor".I've been poking the built in "Check for updates" everyday for almost three months". Turns out it's been lying to me for at least the last three days (Since I last opened the upgrade app).
Here commenceth the backups of my crapola.

ok.... wut?
So the app doesn't upgrade the phone. It queues it up in Settings --> Phone Update...
It's downloading... we shall see what happens. -
Paul Thurrott last week on Windows Weekly said that he didn't think the upgrade to Windows Phone 10 was worth it.

Yeah, but I can always roll back.
Haven't hit the install button yet. I might do a bit more research before I poke that. -
Well, I didn't find anything convincing in the way of holding off.
It's away!
