Suggestion on Druva inSync

Hello All,

Any one have experience in Druva inSync software :- Protect and Govern Your End-User Data Across Endpoints

http://www.druva.com/products/insync/

We are looking for a backup solution for laptop users . Requirement are as follows

Automatic backup to central location ( sync data)
Reschedule the backup if not done.
Granular Restore data (single file restore)
Encrypted data backup
Deduplication
Data loss prevention

Please share your valid comments on Druva inSync software ,

If any alternative for Druva inSync software (open source / paid solution) please share the same.

Does not look like a bad product, but for $6-$8 per month per user, I would stand up an ownCloud instance instead. I say that, because there is no point in backup up entire systems. Just the data. The laptop OS is just something you reinstall.

Check Veeam https://www.veeam.com/

I personally use this and i believe quite a lot of guys in ML are fans of Veeam. Their end point backup is free and works really well.

We have tested the Veeam Endpoint Backup and its quite impressive, but we are looking for a solution which can encrypt the data while backup.

Why not just backup to an encrypted endpoint?

Also looking for a centralize console (single dashboard ) for monitoring all the backups and report on the activities. Push restore from the console

The Veeam free products don't offer that, but their paid versions do.

No, but if you have a paid Veeam solution and point Endpoint Backup at it you can see status there as well as get email notifications.

No, but if you have a paid Veeam solution and point Endpoint Backup at it you can see status there as well as get email notifications.

Ah, good to know. What not aware of any integration.
