Windows 10 Lock Screen Ads
-
Windows 10's new Spotlight feature usually shows you neat photographs and fun facts when you first start your computer. Now, it’s started showing ads.
...
Apparently the “and more” is where Microsoft hid the advertisements.

You sound like the Android people around here who always say to the iPhone users "Hey how do you change your battery? Ohhhhhh, you can't."

I'm contemplating putting Ubuntu Touch on my Nexus 5 when I get my new phone.

Guess I'll stick with win 8 as my gaming system for now.
I game on Windows 10. But it boots directly into Steam, so I never notice anything.

I'm not sure I get the discontent. Turn the feature off if you don't like it?
I'm not sure why but I haven't seen an ad yet and I use the lock screen day in and day out. It's always arbitrary pictures.

@aaron ain't broke, don't fix it.

This is Microsoft we are talking about... If it ain't broke, fix it until it is.
-
@dafyre sure, but MS has been touting windows 10 as the fix for all that is not necessarily broken... and they've been a little pushy about it.

Which means something is definitely broken... and we just haven't figured out what it is yet. Oh, wait, I know! It's ads on the lock screens!
Edit: I haven't actually seen them on my laptop.
