So up above I have a screenshot of the recently released Continuous Replication functionality of Xen Orchestra, which is a pretty awesome achievement.

But my one big complaint is that there is no apparent way to use an NFS Share. As shown below. The obfuscated portions are my server names.

So the question is how would anyone take advantage of this technology, if you can't target your Storage Repositories. Loading right into a xen installation seems painful...

Their blog entry says that NFS shares are supported. So does their docs.

I didn't exactly follow your example. Is the issue that your NFS share isn't visible in the SR list?

My guess is because you are trying to use replication as a backup and that is not what it is?

You cannot point replication to a share. You have to point replication to storage on another host. That is why it is a replica.

If you have NFS storage mounted on another host as available storage, I would guess it would show up there.

Thank you for the clarification I was indeed misunderstanding it.

Since this is not a backup, maybe it shouldn't be under backup area in menus?

Well technically a replica is a copy. A copy is generally the first step of any backup.

But either way ti is not in the Backup menu. It is in the Continuous Replication menu. So that sounds right to me. The error here was @DustinB3403 not the software.

Technically, you access that entire section of the app by selecting the Backup option from the main dropdown menu.

Ah, that part I was not familiar with.

I'm interested in seeing the new GUI that @olivier is putting together. Hopefully it will be more intuitive.

Only one needed to get started playing with that.

                                More than high availability?
