      OOOOOoooooo me!!!! lol

Holding out for Samsung Galaxy S7+. Upgrading from Galaxy Note 3. Hoping for a 6inch screen, SnapDragon 820, 4-6GB RAM, SD card slot (Can't believe they removed it in Galaxy S6 and Note 5), plus fingerprint and iris scanner.

Anyone get a new phone for Christmas???

I got a MotoE (Gen2) in September. Decent little phone, the build quality is superb even though it was designed to be a budget device.

Unlikely for me. Got my current one in the very late summer. So likely a new phone for me will be very early in 2017. Need to update while I am in the States to make things easy with TMobile so maybe Christmas 2016 at the earliest.

Not unless apple comes out with a new phone that still has a 4 inch screen.

Have HTC M8 and was planning to get a Lumia 950XL. My boss got one, serious battery and performance issues, they replaced with a second phone, same issue and since he has good contacts with the guys in MS UAE, he got a 3rd replacement for free. So yeah, plan changed. sticking with M8 for now!

I have a bad feeling the battery in my Nexus5 is starting the downward spiral. Sad to me because it's a very good phone. Wonder how hard it is to replace the battery... gotta go search ifixit.

Might get one,.. most likely be the Apple model since we have had a Apple since the 3gs.. and since we still have the full AT&T unlimited plan (though it went up).. likely to stay there too.

I would not be surprised to learn that Apple had an iPhone Mini in the works.

There were rumors of a smaller 6C, but I haven't seen confirmation. I might eventually have to bit the bullet and go up to the 6. But for now I'm holding onto my 5S.

My 5S is new, so I'll be on that for a long time.

I love my 6sPlus. I won't be going back to a smaller phone unless forced.

I was on the AT&T unlimited for a while too. Had a work discount and was paying $105/month for a phone and tablet with 450 minutes. My data usage was only 2.5GB max on 1 month in 2014. Switched to the mobile share plan. Unlimited minutes, text, and messaging. Did the 4GB plan but support gave me 6GB for $5 less for being a "loyal customer". Also has rollover data so I usually have 10-12GB per month. Only paying $75 total now. Might be worth looking into if you don't have high data use like me.

I think we'll be buying the first phone for one of our children, the 11 year old.

                              Almost definitely an iPhone 6.

Got an iphone 6s on the release date, most likely will be 2017 before I get another one.

I'm debating what I want to get.
Currently have a 640 XL - and other than missing a few apps, I'm pretty happy with it - though i want Windows 10 on it already!

Debating on a 950 XL or jumping back to an Android - though I have no idea which one. The Galaxy S4 was pretty good for the first year I had it, but the second year was pretty horrible, battery wouldn't last a full day, speed was slow, just not pleasant.

I have the Note 4 (Verizon) and am on 5.0. I would love to move to 5.1 and was thinking of the Note 5 prior to its release until it was confirmed it was a sealed back with no SD card slot. I wonder if enough other people care about this anymore or this will be the trend. Those are two reasons I don't like the iPhone (there are many others).

So it boils down to what the Note 6 will be like or if there are any other great phones with similar features and better specs coming out this year.

Is there rumor that the Note 5 will have an SD slot? I just can't see Samsung moving away from the sealed unit.
