XenServer 6.5 on an 8GB USB Boot drive
-
So I ordered a few 8GB thumb drives as I was certain it was possible to install XenServer 6.5 to them, yet I'm not.
I've followed the guide that Citrix has and even they say you need a 16GB thumb drive at a minimum. Which sucks.
Has anyone been able to install XenServer 6.5 on an 8GB (7.2GB in actuality) thumb drive?
In the worse case I'm returning these, but kind of disappointed.

Did you not have a thread about installing on a 8gb drive a few months ago? Without putting myself through the horror of NodeBB search, I thought it was you and you settled on a 16gb then.

That's just it I can't recall to save my life.
Sadly, I likely did, but wanted confirmation. (check my sanity so to speak)

8GB drives never give you 8GB of capacity tho.... this has bit me a time or two myself.

Yeah it's only 7.2 GB usable in reality (I had mentioned it above)
Oh well, back to Staples these go.

I hit the store last night and spent $23 on a 32 GB, not point in not just having plenty of extra space.
