@coliver Do you remember the band "Nelson" from the early 90's? The 2 twin guys with the long blonde hair? Those are their kids.
GRAND kids! Ricky Nelson was their kid. The Nelsons were HIS kids. His daughter was the nun on the "Father Dowling Mysteries".

My grandmother loved that show. Jeeze @scottalanmiller if people talked to you they would think our age group was a WHOLE lot older than we are!

Correct. Sister Stephanie. See, it matters so little that I forgot that detail.

Father Dowling was an awesome show. It was a far better take on the Murder She Wrote style shows.

- Reality TV is about the most worthless thing ever conceived. I am perfectly happy to dismiss that it even exists, and I am sure my life is much better off as a result.
My feeling exactly. Ozzy has removed himself from my consciousness by becoming a reality TV personality.
But if you only see him as that, the fact is that you have removed his actual accomplishments from your consciousness and replaced that with his current status. I would never think of him as a reality TV star. I have actually removed that from my conscious awareness.

It takes a long time for innerweb signals to get all the way to the left side of Canadia...

I'm going to douse this thread in scotch and use it to light a fire upon which I shall roast and consume the delicious flesh of smoked and cured swine.

There are a couple good links

MangoBacon?
-
@Jason I actually will be trying this - mango nectar applied to mostly cooked bacon, then cooked some more to make a nice glaze (I usually do this with maple sizzurp). Maybe a little sprinkle of ground cayenne or jalapeno....
-
Let me know how it goes!
-
@Minion-Queen I'll post a "recipe" or something later this week. I haven't made any candied bacon in a while.
-
I love maple candied bacon. I could eat it by the pound (not a healthy idea but still).
-
For a moment I thought that that said Canadian bacon. Pheww.

But it's Back Bacon there, not Canadian. No more Canadian than Pizza Americana or Cafe Americana are American. Neither is something you can find in the US at all.
