Latency and throughput are two different aspects of speed and have very different effects at different times and while they interact with each other, often we only need to focus heavily on one or the other. In Ferraris and Tractor Trailers I take a look at how the two can be described and understood and why they both matter.

If you have a napkin sketches you can send as JPGs I have two designers here and some Visio guys who can definitely help

Referring to the time and Alaskan Senator explained to the US Congress that "The internet is not a big truck, it isn't just something you put things in" and "It is a series of Tubes, and those tubes can get clogged."

I was actually referring to what Ricky from Trailer Park Boys calls the internet.... I don't do politics or news. Sounds like that senator is the intellectual equivalent of Ricky...
