Well, yes, but I want to zoom in with Greenshot so I can annotate and obfuscate my higher-res/detailed screenies!

I use GreenShot every day. Love it. I especially like the capture last region as we have lectures/PowerPoints every day and I save a lot of slides.

And the account based imgur upload is broke
Anon uploads still work though.The developer knows about it and was hoping for a fast resolution, but it is not in the cards.
It seems it will be fixed, but may take a bit of time. -
Ninite has it as well.

Thanks for the post. I had heard of Greenshot, but was too lazy to go see what it was. Sometimes it's hard to muster the motivation to use Google...

Greenshot has been updated to address both the authenticated imgur issue and the lag on hitting the button.

I liked GreenShot but uninstalled it as it was a bit.... fiddly & quirky. Maybe will give it another go.
It seems like an awesome idea but maybe just too much shell integration for me? or something? I dunno.

Sadly this lag is back.

New thing about GreenShot I bumped into this morning.
If you hover over a window while GreenShot is active, then press the spacebar, GreenShot will highlight the entire window. Then click to get the normal menu.

There are a number of preset hotkeys also such as alt+print screen, etc.

Sadly this lag is back.
I have not experienced this again. I can check my version in a bit.

Changes for this release:
This has Imgur improvements for the newer API version, this is a backport from Greenshot 1.2.9
With the move to a new hosting platform, we also noticed our update checks are way to often, this needed to be reduced.The chocolately system hasn't been updated yet.
and they updated Imgur support again.

Oh wait, already did - whoops! my bad.
I guess this is one of my older installs where I manually install GreenShot.
Fixing that now.

FFS the proper switch command is
-(for single character commands) or--(for long form)Just because they were nice and set it up to accept a
/does not mean you should use it.
