Not really. More like Minecraft in space with a lot of advanced tech and some physics.

Ah... lately I've only been playing one game, Minecraft, I wish I had time and energy to invest in other games. These style games are really easy to pick up for an hour or two... which is pretty much the max I can play in one sitting.

Once you understand how the engine works it gets easier. But I only ever made it to the Mun couldn't get much further then that.

I probably didn't give it enough of a chance. I watched a video where a guy was building a space station. He got a piece of it up and attached and said "that only took 45 minutes"
I just gave up after I heard that lol

Yep... I spent a good 4 hours trying to get a rocket and satellite up to the Mun... then I watched some youtubers do it in 10 minutes.
One of the best things that was introduced is the Career mode. Where you have to unlock parts by doing "Science!" it adds a really fun dynamic to the game while trying to teach the player how to actually play.

Playing Dark Souls 3. God I love these games.

When I played in the beta, the only guidance help you had was a stability module. Have they added any guidance things in?

Not really. Still mostly fly by the seat of your pants.

Uck. I could design the perfect rocket that could get a crew to Mun and back, and my flying would doom them every time.

There are a few mods that make it a lot easier. MechJeb is the big one. They also recently introduced a Scriptable Autopilot mod. Which uses LUA scripts to do the controls.

Picked up the Darksiders Franchise Pack as it was so cheap and well reviewed.
