So this is a thing.
Just why?
Because people like my nephew buy these things.
To play 20 minutes for the lawls and then forget it exists?
Yup, it's really what they do. It's odd, but he can talk his parents into buying him loads of cheap novelty games that obviously have only minutes of value, but struggles for years to talk them into one serious game with hundreds of hours of gameplay. They see the low cost and don't see the value difference of the games.
Sounds like a metaphor
It kinda is.

I think that's probably the case. I know VR can benefit from two GPUs but much more then that is just silly.
