Green man gaming is having their Summer Sale right now. It isn't as extensive as Steam's, but it has some good titles.

Clash Royale anyone? We could start a tournament.

I'm hooked on that one. It's got surprising depth for a silly F2P game.

Indeed. Supercell games make you feel competitive without dropping a ton of $.

I haven't spent a single dollar on it. I rarely do on those sorts of games. Let some other poor addict pay for it

Been playing Fable. Hoping to have some time to get to it this weekend.
-
Solidly into Fallout 4. Had to increase the FOV so I wouldn't barf, but otherwise I'm enjoying the game a lot. It's more in the style of FO3, which I preferred over FNV.

Oddly, I'm the other way FO:NV was much more enjoyable for me then FO3. That's one of the reasons I'm holding off on FO4 until it goes on a deep sale.

A significant percentage of the Steam reviews bash it for losing the character building aspects and say that it feels more like an adventure shooter than an ARPG. What is your experience?

Same, looking for the big sale here as well.

Whoops, means The Wolf Among Us which is based on the comic book Fable, not the video game.

I love the Telltale story telling platform. A little action to keep you seriously engaged, but tons of dialogue choices and real stories and stuff that make you really passionate about the characters and such.
-
Pre-purchase for Telltale's upcoming Batman series was just announced on Steam. I have never liked comic books but telltale really makes me enjoy them because they put you into them in a way that I've never seen before.

Yeah it seems like people are usually in one camp or the other. For me, gameplay > story, so I'd rather have the fun exploration and shooting over some convoluted story and alliances. If I want a Telltale game experience I'll just go play one of their games.

Have you played Banner Saga yet?

I've got my eyes on that one.

My experience is that it's just like FO3, but with the basebuilding for settlements. Plus more crafting for weapons and armor. I enjoyed the additions.
