@scottalanmiller Hello everyone.
I was invited to this forum while at MVP Summit in Seattle this last March so here I am.
My wife and I co-own MPECS Inc. and have been in business since 2003. I started out on BackOffice Server on NT 4/4.5 with a focus on what became Small Business Server with a focus on Proxy/Internet Security and Acceleration Server.
2006/7 brought Longhorn to the for with our company focus having already started to move into Microsoft's Virtual Server 2005+.
I built my first Hyper-V cluster on Intel's Modular Server (we were the first to do so anywhere) after spending about 6-9 months working with Intel and Microsoft (Ben Armstrong & Jose Barreto being key folks that helped).
2012 RTM brought Storage Spaces into the picture with our first SOFS/Hyper-V hosting cluster going out the door not too long after that (2x SOFS and 2x Hyper-V with dual 10GbE switch fabric).
Today we are focused on providing high availability solutions for businesses as small as 5-10 seats (Storage Spaces Direct) all the way up to high VM density hosting providers (S2D or Converged).
I'm fortunate. I love what I do and occasionally get paid to do it.

Hello guys,
Nice to be here! I work primarily with industrial IT.
First real network I worked with was Novell Netware in the 80's. Today it's a mixture of proprietary systems, linux, freebsd and windows.
Hope to learn more about everything, especially new technology and solutions.

Hi there!
Been messing with computers for most of my adult life in one form or another. Most of my IT work is in the Health Care and Auto Dealership realms at this point.
Even though I've learned and done quite a few things in IT, the more I learn, the more I find that I don't know as much as I thought I once knew.
