Webroot, Bad Experience again.
-
And just got this email:
Yeah not trying that again. Test Kaspersky now.
-
Kaspersky was too bulky of an AV engine. Just went back to Avast Business Free. Hopefully Webroot will refund my money.
-
Have you tried contacting them at that customer service email address? I imagine that they could get things straightened out for you.
FWIW, I switched to Webroot from Vipre and haven't been disappointed...
-
@thecreativeone91 Your problem isn't with webroot. The problem is your using PayPal.
If you had used a credit card, you would have had no problems.....

They accept it. That isn't my problem. If they list it as a payment option it is indeed Webroots problem. It was also webroots webpage that failed, not paypal. This is in no way a paypal issue.
Also their trial key doesn't even work that was sent to me, That doesn't have a thing to do with paypal.

How could they tell the difference? Paypal pays people the same no matter what the funding source is.

Don't have the email address but, I submitted a request online and haven't heard anything back.
At this point because I had nothing but issues when I tried it on a mac before, had this issue with not getting what I paid for and then the trial key wouldn't even work so I could do a trial I'm following the three strikes rule. Webroot is now on my permanent ban list for considering use at home or work.

Well. That's great for you but Paypal is fine. Never had an issue with it.
-
I have seen this issue time and time again. You pay for something using PayPal, but the store don't see the transaction as cleared, so they don't release the product keys.
-
I just bought Webroot online 1 yr for 5pc version for home use with a credit card, and I have the key instantly.

Never had that issue before, and that's the companies fault for not setting it up right not PayPals issue.

The key I got for the trial version didn't even work so there no way in hell im trusting a company like Webroot with my CC information, when I'll I've had is bad experiences with them.

Did the purchase actually go through? While I assume you verified this, I still have to ask.
