Ohio forced them to shut down yesterday.
Yeah, Texas asked Ohio for some legal paperwork help and OH, NY, and PA all told TX that they had all filed against Hobby Lobby as they were running a nationwide campaign to stay open despite laws in all those places closing them. So Texas files a copy of Ohio's paperwork today and went on television and directly told Hobby Lobby that they needed to set down what they were working on and walk out the doors immediately.

Coronavirus: Confirmed global cases pass one million
More than a million cases of coronavirus have been registered globally, according to the latest figures from Johns Hopkins University - another grim milestone as the world grapples with the spreading pandemic.
Nearly 53,000 people have died and more than 210,000 have recovered, according to the US university's figures. The US has the most cases, and more than 1,000 died there in the past day. The disease, Covid-19, first emerged in central China three months ago. Though the tally kept by Johns Hopkins records one million confirmed cases, the actual number is thought to be much higher. -

The president and NBA players get unlimited tests. It just depends on how rich you are to get tested.

LOL, including the president here is just ludicrous. You might love him or hate him - but he's the bloody POTUS, hell yeah he gets all the testing he wants/his medical advisors demand.
Now NBA - yeah screw those guys. All those industries should be slashing all salaries for the year, and helping the world financially.. they'll be back in a year or two at their huge salaries (not something I personally have an issue with - you lot love your sports and prop up the industries that pay those people huge dollars).

Actually - that wouldn't matter in the of my comment - all those rich folks buying their way into testing - which of course is generally likely useless - at least until it comes back positive... because just because you test negative now, doesn't mean you won't be exposed 20 mins after the sample was taken.

Coronavirus: US set to recommend wearing of masks
The White House is expected to advise Americans in coronavirus hotspots to wear cloth masks or scarves in public to help stop the virus spread.
President Donald Trump said such an advisory would not be mandatory. Residents of New York, the epicentre of the US outbreak, have already been urged to cover their faces in public. Top health official Dr Anthony Fauci has said he believed all states should issue stay-at-home orders, as the US death toll passed 6,000. "I don't understand why that's not happening," Dr Fauci told CNN late on Thursday. "If you look at what's going on in this country, I just don't understand why we're not doing that." "You've got to put your foot on the accelerator to bring that number down," he added, referring to infection and death rates. -
Coronavirus: Europe's care homes struggle as deaths rise
As nursing and care homes across Europe battle to stop the spread of Covid-19 among the elderly, France has revealed 1,416 residents have succumbed to the virus since the epidemic began.
Alarming cases have emerged in the Spanish capital Madrid, with reports of dozens of deaths in two nursing homes. Residents were taken to hospital in the Italian city of Naples after a care home outbreak claimed several lives. Cases have also been reported in 100 care homes around the Swedish capital. Although authorities in the Stockholm region have not given figures, public broadcaster SVT says more than 400 people have been infected and about 50 have died. -

Damn
Johnson & Johnson announced a similar thing. They have a likely vaccine candidate going into testing. But instead of producing it in quantity after testing, they are ramping up production it now in case it proves viable.
Large monetary risk, that I am surprised they are able to get done as a publicly traded company.

Coronavirus: Spanish deaths fall for fourth consecutive day
The daily number of coronavirus deaths has fallen in Spain for a fourth consecutive day, boosting hopes the country has passed the outbreak's peak.
Monday's increase of 637 deaths means 13,055 have died in total. The nation has more than 135,000 confirmed cases, the most in Europe, but new infections have been slowing. In Italy, the number of new infections fell by 1,031 to 1,941 on Monday, but the death toll rose to 636 - more than 100 higher than the previous day. Slowing infection rates in a number of European countries are raising hope that strict social distancing measures are curbing the spread of Covid-19 - the disease caused by the virus. On Monday, Austria's chancellor announced plans to start easing some of the restrictions in place because of the pandemic. -

Like, "hey, fewer people died, but we're still filling more coffins than we can build."
