Nothing in the news as to whether or not they made it!

I think your subconscious is messing with you. If you are focused on a single person, and not a broad sweep like he said, to try to make it plausible, then you are likely thinking singular in your head. You are focused on Omar because she did come from another country. But that's not who he attacked (or not only who he attacked.) And for the attack to be correct, has to be correct (that's how correct works.) "Close enough" doesn't apply.
So while it was wrong, you can see that likely your brain is thinking about how it applies to one person out of the group.
My brain is fine and I totally get what you are saying. You have your context and I have mine.
We both think each other is "nutty" (in a good way as neither of us mean no harm) and that is fine.IMHO, those four are one in the same and I still believe the statement is correct. Yes, One person can be used as a basis for the group. Happens all the time in business, politics and world society.

But it would be wrong in any other context, too. Just because it is used often never makes it right.
Imagine walking into a room of four people and telling them that they all got a 10% raise. Then later explaining you only meant one of them, not all four that you were speaking to.

I haven't seen anything on the conclusion. Holy crap, that has to be scary even for only about 10 feet drop. That water was moving FAST.

Even ten feet will drown you, for sure.

Absolutely. That is one of the main reasons I have never been rafting. Weird that I don't mind jumping out of a perfectly good airplane though. LOL

Fox News said that they were rescued.

Even a 1 foot waterfall can easily drowned you if you choose the way the currents your spin and pull you down.
I can state this from personal experience in my teens. We were on the spring river in northern Arkansas and waiting for the group to catch up at a short 1 foot waterfall playing around and the current pulled me under.

It's a decent video about why that is.

I understand. Citizenship is a difficult concept to grasp... One person from a group not being born in America makes a statement true for 3 other people because they share the same ideologies. You should loosen up your red hat a bit. It seems to be cutting off circulation to your brain.

A lot of places now make these slanted "waterfalls" that do like a 30 percent grade drop rather than actually "falling". You might slide down it, but it's not dangerous at the end.

The spring river is natural waterfalls.
